Aether Core is a tower defense where towers do nothing alone.

To make a tower shoot, you drag a cable from your castle to it.

No cable — no attack. Simple.

But you only have limited energy. You can't power everything.

During waves, you reroute cables in real time:

cut power from one tower, give it to another, add a fire

modifier where you need it most. Every decision costs energy.

Every disconnect refunds it instantly.

The game is not about building the perfect setup.

It's about fixing your mistakes while enemies are already there.

The gameplay looks solid overall, but I didn't enjoy the camera positioning very much. It felt like I was missing a lot of the details on the characters, buildings, and the portal, which made the presentation less engaging.

The connection mechanic was easy to understand, but I was hoping it would introduce some new twists or additional challenges over time. After connecting all four paths, I found myself mostly waiting through the five waves rather than making interesting decisions.

The energy system also felt a little unclear to me in some situations, especially regarding the building in the bottom-right corner.

That said, it's clear the core gameplay loop is there, with proper success and defeat states, and it's always impressive to see a complete, playable game come together. Great job, and I think with a bit more iteration on the mechanics and presentation, it could become an even stronger experience.
